Santa Visits
	On December 11th St. Julies became the headquarters for Santa as he sat outside the parish hall and brought smiles to many children and adults. This was also the first time in recent memory that the Knights baked cookies/cakes/brownies to raise money for our service men and women overseas. Special thanks to Jack Brennan and Bob Watson for their efforts.

Food Baskets
	On November 21st, a group of Knights and Boy Scouts (from troop 753) gathered at St. Julies to prepare the many food baskets for local needy families. A total of 30 families received the Thanksgiving meal. On November 22nd a caravan of vehicles departed to bring the baskets to the homes. Special thanks to Richard Gaz for his excellent job at organizing the event.

Park Day

Held on October 15, 2005 at Borchard Community Park. Special thanks to Kevin Mason for helping buy the goods and setup, Dr. Michael Richey, Joe Garcia, Bob Watson and Bill Doherty for cooking & cleaning, and for all the families who showed up. The softball game was great going deep into the 6th inning before McCarthy's team was able to outlast Mason's team. Kevin was able to regroup and partner with Greg Stimson to take the prize in the egg toss. The egg has been forwarded to national dairy association for the hall of fame.

Anniversary Dinner

It was an exciting evening where some of us younger Knights joined in to help celebrate the anniversaries for Knights with over 40 years of membership/charity in the Knights of Columbus. A very special Knight, Brother Lee Jensen, celebrated 75 years of service, while a handful of guys had over 50 years, and even more with over 40 years.That's a lot of charity!!!!! Thanks to Grand Knight Bob Hicks for emceeing the event.

Golf Tourney -2005

Nothing beats the sunshine and hitting a little white ball around a beautiful park. That is of course, until you can't find the little ball. We had over 100 participants this year join in at Spanish Hills C.C in what has turned out to be our biggest fund raising event of the year. Thank you to our corporate and family sponsors for helping make it a success. We couldn't do it without you. Next year we will be at Moorpark Country Club on May 22nd. Please mark your calendars and start practicing because I FOUND THE WHITE BALL!!!! Special thanks to the golf committee for organizing the event.
